Monday, March 13th we head to California Country Club, with a 9:00 am shotgun start.
The Open Players will be playing the White Tees at 6531 yards with a slope of 71.5/126 and the Senior Players will be playing the Red Tees at 6104 yards with a slope of 69.3/120. C.C.C. does not have a driving range, but there are some nets you can hit into and practice putting greens.
The snack stand and bar will be open at 8:00, on the course will be snacks and beverages
set up at a location that you will pass at least 4 times. After golf there will be a Burger/Hot Dog lunch available for $15.00 and the bar will be open.
C.C.C. was built in 1950, designed by William Bell Jr, Yes the same guy that designed Torrey Pines. The course is in excellent condition, if you have not played C.C.C. it should be on your must play list. If you are like me and played it many times you know what a test it is, so come back and challenge yourself.
Registration deadline for the March Monthly is Tuesday, March 7th.
It's time to sign up for S.H.I.T.S. (Singing Hills In The Spring). If you have not played this event, it is a two day net tournament with a 9 hole scramble on the first day. This is two days of fun low key golf! We need a headcount by March 10th so please don't wait.
