FELLOW HACKERS,

WELL, “THE VIC” WAS ONCE AGAIN VERY SPECIAL, FAST GREENS, LONG PAR THREE’S AND GREAT PIZZA.  WHAT COULD BE BETTER?  I GOT A LOT OF QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE WERE-A-BOUTS OF OUR BELOVED “TOB”.  NO, HE HAS NOT GONE TO HAVANA ON A CIGAR BINGE NOR HAS HE GONE TO IRELAND IN SEARCH OF THE  SCOTCH GOD.  HE SIMPLY GOT TIRED OF CARRYING MY SORRY ASS AROUND THE GOLF COURSE AND DECIDED TO TAKE A THREE-MONTH BREAK TO SEE IF OUR PARTNERSHIP WILL STILL SURVIVE THE PRESSURES OF MY EVER-INCREASING HANDICAP.  WE SHOULD SEE HIM, WITH A NEW ATTITUDE, STARTING WITH TIJERAS CREEK IN JULY.

Tuesday, June 10th with an 8:00 shotgun start, takes us back to an LACFGA favorite, Sierra Lakes.  The Open players will be playing the Blue Tees at 6435 yards with a slope of 71.2/124 and the Seniors will be playing the Yellow Tees at 5601 yards with a slope of 67.2/113.  The driving range will be open, in the past range balls were included, we will see if they still are.  The restaurant will be open at 7:00, there will be a beverage cart on the course.  The course requires our player count on June 3rd.  Don't wait, sign up now!
