WOW GOLFERS,

JUST A NOTE AFTER RETURNING FROM THE S.H.I.T.S. TOURNAMENT AT SINGING HILLS.

I WAS UNABLE TO PLAY IN THE SHAMBLE TOURNAMENT DUE TO COMPLICATIONS OF OLD AGE, BUT I UNDERSTAND IT WENT VERY WELL AND I WOULD REALLY BE GRATEFUL OF YOUR FEEDBACK ON THIS FORMAT.  PLEASE TALK TO ME AT CHECK-IN DESK WHEN WE PLAY LOS SERRANOS.

SMOK’EM IF YA GOT’EM,

JOHN

As El Presidenté mentioned, we were at Singing Hills for the S.H.I.T.S. tournament.  About 20 golfers went down to play the tournament and help us test drive the facilities with the lodging now being at the Sycuan Casino.  Everything went well and we are ready for the Singing Hills Invitational in September.

Some of you may have noticed a change to the registration process, starting with the May Monthly at Victoria Club.  Now when you register for an event you will be listed as a "Pending Player".  Once your payment for the event is received you will be moved to the "Confirmed Players" list.
This serves three purposes;
  1. This lets you know that you have / have not paid your event fees.
  2. It will alleviate me having to chase down players for their event fees.
  3. Allows Ward to give the course our "Real" player count.
The courses have really tightened up on allowing us to change our player count on the day of the tournament.  The days of us having the whole course if we do not have a full field are gone, unless it is a private club.  It's a money thing!

TOB Out!

This month we would like to welcome the following new members to our club;

If you see them at an event, give them a warm LACFGA welcome!
