WITH THE PAST TWO MONTHS GETTING RAINED OUT IT DOESN’T LEAVE MUCH TO TALK ABOUT.  SO I WON’T.

 

PLAY WELL AT CCC,

Monday March 11th, with a 9:00 shotgun start, we head to California Country Club.  The Open Tees, White, will be playing at 6531 yards with a slope of 71.5/126 and the Senior Tees, Red, will be playing at 6104 yards with a slope of 69.3/120.

 

C.C.C. does not have a driving range but there are some nets you can hit balls into to warm up, there is also practice putting greens.

 

The snack shop will be open at the turn. The restaurant and bar will be open after the round with a limited menu. 
   

C.C.C. was built in 1950, designed by William Bell JR, yes the same guy that designed Torry Pines. The course is in excellent condition and should set up well for our Shamble tournament.

If you were thinking of signing up for the March Monthly at C.C.C., you still have time to get in before the March 5th registration & payment deadline.  We will be playing a Shamble format for this event.

 

The registration deadline for SHITS is March 27th.  The deadline to get your room at our guaranteed rate was 3/2, but you may be able to call and still get our rate.

 

Registration for the April Monthly at Los Serranos G.C. is open and is 25% filled.

 

An FYI for our newer members, and reminder for our seasoned members, events that are listed as being SCFGA events, Southern Calif. Firemen's Golf Assoc., are open for you to play. SCFGA puts on four events each year, The Desert Classic (Palm Springs), Vegas Shamble (Las Vegas), Tahoe Classic (Lake Tahoe area) & Pebble Beach.  Golfers are mostly active & retired firefighters from FD's across SoCal.  These are great events and it's a good way to meet golfers from other FD's.  No additional membership is required for these events, your LACFGA membership gets you in the door!
