February 20th Monthly Play takes us to Eagle Glen Golf Club in Corona.  With an 8:00 shotgun start the Open Players will be playing the Blue Tees at 6279 yards and a slope of 70.4/131.  The Senior Players will be playing the White Tees at 5552 yards and a slope of 67.0/121.  The driving range will be open, range balls are NOT included with your entry fee.  The restaurant will open at 7:00 and there will be 2 beverage carts on the course.

Years past LACFGA would play Eagle Glen, but with an aging group of players the carry from the blue tees was a bit much.  Now with a senior group playing the forward tees the longest carries are no more than 100 yards.

Save the date for SCFGA Las Vegas Shamble tournament May 6th and 7th applications out soon.  The Las Vegas Shamble is a two-day partner's best ball event played at the Revere golf club.  There are two courses at Revere golf club Lexington and Concord; both are wonderful and challenging.  We have a group rate at South Point Hotel Casino; 15 minutes from Revere, or you may stay wherever you like.

Save the date for the INFERNO shoot out June 17th-19th applications will be out early April.

Just a heads up to Y'all,

This first part of the year is when the LACFGA Hub is in full swing!

I am currently working on 4 different tournaments, with each of them being in a different stage of the process.  It will be like this until May, then I get a bit of a break before gearing up for Singing Hills.

So, what I am saying is if you don't;

  • Renew
  • Pay
  • Label
  • Read/Handle
it may be a bit before I have time to deal with your issue.

TOB Out!

  • Dustin Brown

  • Greg Jones
  • Scott Jones

If you see them at an event, give them a warm LACFGA welcome!
